Permission before volume
Public access alone is not enough. Unclear or restrictive reuse terms put a source on hold.
Freshness you can check
Source timestamps reflect successful checks. Provider limits and delayed feeds remain visible.
Connected provider policies
This register records the basis for each integration as reviewed on 12 September 2026. It is an operational source review, not a claim of universal legal clearance. Terms may change; restrictions and rights-holder requests take priority.
Himalayas
Provider documentationAPI documentation explicitly permits backfilling other job boards.
Keep the Himalayas name and canonical listing link. No onward syndication, including Google Jobs, LinkedIn Jobs, Jooble or Neuvoo. Daily source cache; honour pagination and throttling.Official documentation says published postings are public and may be scraped by third parties.
Published postings only. Link to the original employer listing. No candidate or internal recruiting data.Remotive
Provider documentationPublic API is provided for displaying jobs with attribution.
Retain Remotive name and listing link. No onward syndication, including Google Jobs, LinkedIn Jobs, Jooble or Neuvoo, and no email collection wall. Refresh at most four times per day; listings are delayed.Remote OK
Provider documentationThe public feed provides reuse instructions in its legal notice.
Name Remote OK and use a follow link to its canonical listing. Do not use the Remote OK logo without written permission. Respect the live feed legal notice and rate limits.Jobicy
Provider documentationOfficial feed guidance permits normal job-board use without a separate agreement.
Attribute Jobicy and keep the original link. Cache the feed; maximum 200 API records and hourly checks.Sources awaiting permission
Arbeitnow: The public API invitation and general noncommercial licence leave commercial republication scope unclear. On hold pending confirmation that an ad-supported aggregator may cache and display its API listings with attribution. Read the documentation.
We Work Remotely: The RSS invitation conflicts with broader restrictions on using WWR data for a job-search service. On hold pending written clarification covering RSS republication, storage, commercial use and hiring artwork. Read the documentation.
ProGigFinder: Partner feeds are offered to aggregators, but general terms restrict automated copying and collection. On hold pending clarification that the partner-feed permission covers caching and display on an ad-supported job board. Read the documentation.
Greenhouse: Public API access is documented for company careers pages; blanket third-party republication permission was not established. Obtain employer or provider permission before enabling direct imports. Read the documentation.
Ashby: Public posting API access is documented; blanket third-party republication permission was not established. Obtain employer or provider permission before enabling direct imports. Read the documentation.
LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and private social feeds are not scraped. SmartRecruiters’ partner distribution feed requires an approved integration and credentials. Jobspresso’s general reuse restrictions and NIPER’s permission requirements keep those sources outside this catalogue.
Hiring images and scanned notices
We can extract text from employer hiring images received through a permitted feed or supplied with documented permission. Each candidate retains its source link and permission evidence. Image-only roles need a reviewed employer, title, location or stated geographic scope, application destination, and expiry check before entering the index. Logos and general branding never create extra vacancies.
A hiring image may accompany an existing text listing. Images load only when a visitor chooses to view them. We do not scrape private accounts or copy social-media image posts simply because they are visible.
What counts as a job
A record must name a company and a specific role, link to a secure source page, and include a meaningful description. Generic talent pools, missing details, known expired records, and duplicate company–role–location combinations are excluded. We favour the direct employer version when available. Counts represent indexed records, not every vacancy advertised anywhere on the internet.
How updates work
Most feeds are eligible for an hourly check. Remotive is limited to six-hour intervals; Himalayas uses a daily catalogue and a resumable cursor scan. A source response replaces missing jobs only after its full scan succeeds. Failed feeds retain their previous records, but jobs unchecked for more than 72 hours are hidden. Source requests respect throttling and do not bypass authentication or access controls.
An independent GitHub Actions runner checks due feeds hourly, even when the operator’s computer is off. Provider cache intervals, throttling and resumable scans still apply. GitHub can delay scheduled starts, and runner availability or quota limits can interrupt updates. Browser polling only reloads displayed results; it does not start imports. An authorised administrator can also request a manual refresh.
